All About Me

Hi I'm Wendy Behenna a recently retired Medical Laboratory Technologist who now treats the kitchen as my "lab" to create healthy dishes using real food ingredients.

I am also a certified Tea Sommelier that loves to incorporate tea in certain dishes when baking and cooking. Tea can add flavour, extra nutrients and anti-oxidants to the dish. 

I live in the pretty little town of Point Clark, Ontario situated on the shores of Lake Huron. 

I enrolled in my dream course from the Academy of Culinary Nutrition in the fall of 2021 to become a Culinary Nutrition Expert. I want to share the knowledge I acquired by helping people with meal planning and cooking skills, especially those transitioning to a gluten-free and dairy-free lifestyle.

Food has the power to heal and can lead you on the path to better health and wellness. Creating dishes using real food adds value and nutrition to every bite.  A little planning ahead of time ensures that these dishes are part of your everyday journey to better health.

I want to be your kitchen confidence coach to guide all levels of chefs to be comfortable and creative in the kitchen.  As a mentor and a cheerleader, I will be there every step of the way.
